Ochocinco Not the Only One Making Bold Predictions, Terrell Owens Predicts Super Bowl For Bengals

Terrell Owens and Chad Ochocinco have never been players to filter what they say to the media. They have both ran their mouths about other teams, in Owens case about his own team. They also make bold predictions.

In 2004 the Kansas City Chiefs were an undefeated team and won their first nine games on their road to Cincinnati. That very week Chad Johnson (he didn't change his name yet) made the boldest prediction of the season saying that his team was going to be the first to beat the Chiefs.

A lot of people laughed at the thought because the Bengals weren't the best team in the NFL by all means, but the players had it in their mind that they were going to beat Kansas City. Thats Sunday they handed the undefeated team their first defeat and Chad Johnson looked like a genius. He has made other predictions some have came true, and others failed miserably.

Now the new guy in town is claiming that his current team is going to make it to the Super Bowl. Terrell Owens said it feels like the same atmosphere of the Philly Eagles team that made it to the Super Bowl only to lose to the New England Patriots.

He pretty much said that if the team can remain healthy then they will be fine and that with the talent and capabilities this team has they can really go all the way.

Honestly, just like the Chiefs game, its not whether the fans or critics believe that they can or not. If the players believe they can make it and they give this season their all then it can happen and thats what I'll be looking for.

I like the enthusiasm of this team and I think we're going to see a lot of things when the season gets started that we have never seen from a Bengals team.

They responded to the 2005 playoff run with arrests and off the field issue, but since they lost against the Jets in January they have just been hungry to get back on that field.

Their tank ran empty last season after so many tragic events unfolded for the team and it resulted to a disappointing end to a terrific season. As long as nothing happens off the field and the team can remain healthy then there is no question they're now one of the tops in the league.
